Konjushkas lake is the highest lake in all of the Sharri mountains, including the Macedonian territory. The lake is approximately 100 m long, 70 m wide and 50 cm deep. The lake has a beautiful location at the roots of the Konjushka Peak. A beautiful 70s hut is located in the vicinity of the lake, which used to serve as a shelter for wild goats hunters, since apparently there are plenty of those living in this part of the mountains.
The name of the Konjusha lake is Albanian, since the lake is very close by to the peak, while in Serbian it is called Gornje jezero (Upper Lake), and it is under this name that it can be found in old Yugoslav maps.
