Itinerary: Pristina – Llapushniku Gorge – Malishevë – Zatriqi Gorge - Rahovec - Stone Castle Winery

Depart Pristina at noon for the drive to the Rahovec Valley and the Stone Castle Winery. Have a welcome drink in the Director’s Office to meet co-owner Hysen Geci and director Shani Mullabazi who will guide us on a walking tour and wine tasting in their large wine cellar. You will sample two white wines and three reds, including Stone Castle’s award-winning Chardonnay and Merlot. Return to Rahovec for a tour of the Old Winery “Podrumi i Vjetër,” where you will be welcomed by the owner Halim Haxhijaha and be served Pinot Noir and Vranac wines. Continue to the village of Hoça e Madhe (Velika Hoça), to visit the private winery of the Boza Family for a tasting of their wine. Finally, we will visit the “Vinica” Winery, owned and operated by the local monastery and return to Pristina that evening.
