For the inhabitants of the city of Gjilan, Perlepnica has been viewed as a relaxing and recreation zone. Perlepnica is located in the highway Gjilan- Byjanovc (Serbia), with a distance of 8 km away from Gjilan. Perlepnica is a village relatively big and with a developed infrastructure. Mainly a part of the population in this village works with their lands and is farmers where they produce tobacco. Some of them also make the most of the nature so that they create this village a great point for tourism. A good example could be the horse farm named “Vali” - www.valiranch.com The main road of the village tends to go up through the mountain of Blerta, but this is all when there are no more houses and building and when the bitumen road stops continuing. It is preferred that the other part to be discovered walking, it is really beautiful and it sends you right to the Perlepnica Lake. The lake is surrounded from the high hills of the mountains of Blerte which reach the height of 1004 m.
