Livoq is a village which is located in the entrance of the city of Gjilan (approximately 3 km away from Gjilan, the first curve in the left of the road) in the highway Gjilan- Prishtine. The village is surrounded by waters starting from the Livoq Lake which can be seen from the highway, also Livoq River which pours from the lake and flows into the center of the village and in the end it pours into Morava e Binces. Village of Livoq is separated in the upper part and the down part of Livoq, meaning that it is spread all over hills and sections. The population is mainly Albanians and they are all Muslims. They principally work on their lands, so they are farmers. The hills that surround the village are not really high; nevertheless the scenery that the different varieties of the natural hills create makes it very attractive for walking. In spite of the infrastructure which is relatively developed, there are some bitumen roads that exist. The small traditional styled houses are one reason that you should visit this village
