Kabash is situated in the valley along Korisha River, around 9 km away from city of Prizren. It is a mountainous settlement, currently uninhabited because everyone has moved out, some to village Korisha, some in Prizren and the rest scattered. Now, there are only several small mountain houses, used by visitors during weekends and warmer seasons.

However, in the past Kabash was a large and important settlement; as it was also known as ‘country’s Kabash’. There are still the remains of its 13 very old churches left, as an indicator of its seniority and great historical values. Amond the most attractive churches is the St. Peter’s Church, which is carved into a cave and the interior decorated with beautiful frescos.
